About this ebook

Prepare to be terrified by "Duel" and other unforgettable tales of horror and suspense from the award-winning author of I Am Legend.

Richard Matheson's nail-biting short story "Duel" was adapted into Stephen Spielberg's terrifying first film of the same name. But this outstanding collection showcases the author's mastery of the genre beyond the iconic story of a murderous semi chasing a driver down a lonely stretch of desert highway.

With over a dozen chilling tales, including several stunning shockers that inspired timeless episodes of The Twilight Zone, Matheson proves why he is a master of horror and suspense. From apocalyptic scenarios to encounters with vampires, zombies, and plague, these stories will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Fans of Somewhere in Time, What Dreams May Come, and The Incredible Shrinking Man won't want to miss this gripping anthology from the award-winning author. Prepare for a thrilling ride through Matheson's darkest and most suspenseful narratives.
