About this ebook

A Train is Late This Christmas – a magical romantic comedy from CP Ward, author of Christmas at Snowflake Lodge and Autumn at the Willow River Guesthouse.

It’s the weekend before Christmas, and thirty-five-year-old office nobody Julia Adams is heading home from Brentwell to spend the holidays with her family. Fresh from seeing her ex-boyfriend locked up after stealing and trashing her car, it doesn’t matter that less desirable family are visiting and her old room had been given to her nightmarish cousins, home is home.

However, fate has other ideas, and when a freak snowstorm leaves the train delayed and the passengers marooned in the tiny village of Birch Valley, Julia is about to embark on a Christmas adventure like no other. Against a backdrop of Christmas tree farms, wolves, and bad karaoke, Julia could be able to find that special person so far missing from her life. Or is there another twist in the fairytale?

From CP Ward, the much-loved author of Christmas at the Marshamallow CaféAutumn in Sycamore Park, and Summer at Blue Sands Cove, comes another magical Christmas romantic comedy to warm your heart by the fireside on cold, winter nights.

This is the second book I've read written by CP Ward; I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the eighth book in the Delightful Christmas Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Julia; she is on her way home but ends up getting marooned after a train delay because of a snowstorm. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

The eighth book in the Delightful Christmas series, I loved it. Julia Adams gets marooned in the tiny village of Birch Valley and meets Joseph and the towns characters and finds out what it means to have a merry Christmas. A beautiful story that I was not putting down until I was finished. I would say it is a must read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Train is Late This Christmas - Mr. Ward has always held my interest with the books of his that I have read whether his series set in Japan or this Christmas series. This is probably my favorite book so far. Thoroughly entertained, I enjoyed the well written story lines and the realistic dialogues. There are so many special characters that to have one removed from the story would have changed the personality, the magic and the fun found in this enchanting story. I could not stop reading. Whether the 'what would my viewers think' personality to the 'joyfilled youthful' personality, there are moments of clarity, romance, discoveries, calmness, joy, and living in the moment. Sometimes a terrible inconvenience can change more than plans for the holidays. Source: BookSprout. 5* A Stranger Arrives This Christmas - Sweet. Magical. A wonderful little Christmas story with plenty of love and feel-goodness and fun. Good characters that are loveable and interesting story lines made this book har
