About this ebook

The classic and controversial novel made available again; Acclaimed winner of the William Whitehead Memorial Award for a lifetime's contribution to gay and lesbian literature, bestselling and award-winning SF author Samuel R. Delany wrote Hogg three decades ago. Since then it has been one of America's most famous 'unpublishable' novels. The subject matter of Hogg is our culture of sexual violence and degeneration. Delany explores his disturbing protagonist Hogg on his own turf - rape, pederasty, sexual excess - exposing an area of violence and sexual abuse from the inside. As such, it is a brave but necessary book.

annihilating angel

Firstly I'm going to minimise any spoilers. The narrator of this novella is a thirteen year old boy and this book documents his descent into transgressive degredation. He consumes the following bodily fluids and excretions on his journey - dirt, sweat, blood, semen, vaginal fluids, urine, feaces, smegma and pus. The book focusses on gay exploitation and misogynist maltreatment of women.. Note again this is a TRANSGRESSIVE book that is on a par with De Sade's 120 Days, Juliette and Philosophy in the Boudoir, but without any of De Sade's philosophical waffle. If you have a strong stomach this book is for you. If you are more Lady Chatterly's Lover then give this a miss. P.S. The cover photo is highly misleading.
