About the author

Professor Dimitrios A. Lamprou (Ph.D. MBA) is the Chair of Biofabrication and Advanced Manufacturing, the Director of Internationalisation, and the Director at MSc Industrial Pharmaceutics at Queen's University Belfast. He is also the Chair at United Kingdom and Ireland Controlled Release Society (UKICRS) and Visiting Professor in several International Institutions. Dimitrios, is the author of more than 170 peer-reviewed publications, has over 450 conference abstracts, and has given over 200 Invited Talks in institutions and conferences across the world. Dimitrios, has also been named in the Stanford University's list of World's Top 2% Scientists, for several consecutive years, for his research in Pharmaceutics and Biomedical Engineering.
