ILAN PAPPE ist Professor für Geschichte am Institut für Arabistik und Islamwissenschaften und Direktor des Europäischen Zentrums für Palästinastudien an der Universität Exeter. Er ist Autor von über einem Dutzend Büchern, darunter dem Bestseller "Die ethnische Säuberung Palästinas". 2017 erhielt er bei den Palestine Book Awards den Preis des Middle East Monitor für sein Lebenswerk.
