The rescue was followed by millions of people around the world as Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev joined the forces of their two nations to help free the whales.

I have not read the book but I know that this story is amazing! I saw the movie and heard the story 100,0000000000 times and I LOVE whales! And the story is really sweet! But, poor, poor, bam bam :( :( But five stars! ★★★★★ again, ★★★★★!
