LISA MORTON is a screenwriter, award-winning fiction author and novelist, and Halloween expert. After co-scripting (with legendary make-up effects artist Tom Burman) the cult movie favourite Meet the Hollowheads, she went on to co-write the Disney Channel’s Adventures in Dinosaur City, and more recently wrote the vampire thriller Blood Angels (distributed by Universal). As a fiction writer, her work was most recently seen in the anthologies Zombie Apocalypse: Fightback!, Danse Macabre: Close Encounters with the Grim Reaper and Blood Lite 3. A four-time winner of the Bram Stoker Award and the 2012 recipient of the Halloween Book Festival Grand Prize (for Trick or Treat?: A History of Halloween), her Halloween expertise has garnered her interviews with the BBC, the Boston Globe, The History Channel, and on the Blu-ray supplements of the feature film Trick ’r Treat. He has won the British Fantasy Award twenty-one times and is also a Hugo Award nominee.
