Rreth këtij libri elektronik

1937: An island somewhere in the middle of the ocean, which Count Zaroff has chosen as his new hunting ground. He's tired of hunting the usual game — animals are far too easy to kill. He has set himself the supreme challenge: a prey that is both dangerous and unpredictable, in fact the only prey worth hunting — people. But when the Count brings down a Mafia boss, the "family" lands on the island looking for revenge. Suddenly, the roles are reversed and the Count finds himself being hunted. To make matters worse, the Mafiosi have kidnapped the Count's sister and her children and brought them to the island. If Zaroff doesn't find them soon, they'll all be killed. And he'll be next.

Sylvain Runberg, born in 1971, divides his time between Stockholm, Provence, and Paris. He has a diploma in Plastic Arts and an MA in Political History. Before he started writing, Runberg worked for publishing house Humanoides Associés, as the editor for Moebius & Enki Bilal, among others. His first book was launched in 2004 and since then Sylvain Runberg has had more than 50 books published by the largest French publishers (Glénat, Le Lombard, Dupuis, Dargaud, Casterman, Soleil, Futuropolis) and is now translated into 15 languages, having sold in total over 1 million copies worldwide. Very quickly recognized as one of the most talented writers of his generation, Sylvain Runberg is characterized by the variety of the worlds that he creates: space opera ("Orbital," "Warship Jolly Roger"), speculative fiction ("Drones"), psychological thrillers ("Cases Blanches," "Face Cachée," of which the first volume was awarded the Silver Prize of the 4th International Manga Awards in Tokyo), horror ("Sonar"), historical adventures tinged with fantasy ("Darwin's Diaries" [Le Lombard/Cinebook], "Conquests" [Le Lombard/Europe Comics], "Hammerfall"), dark fantasy, crime stories ("Motorcity" [Dargaud/Europe Comics], "Interpol" [Dupuis/Europe Comics]), and political thrillers, all characterized by his realistic style. Runberg has also adapted the Stieg Larsson trilogy "Millennium" ("The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo") with illustrators Homs and Man. Sylvain Runberg is currently working on several new comics projects that will be published in the years to come in Europe and the US (he has always claimed that the US comics scene was a great source of inspiration for him). He's also working on a TV project of his own creation, as well as other projects linked to television and other famous licenses.

As François Miville-Deschênes knows better than anyone, you sometimes have to leave in order to get your bearings on the world! This artist was born in Bonaventure, a small coastal town in Quebec province, and spent his youth trying to escape it through his drawing. Ever since his very first comic book, completed at 5 years old, he's been churning out sketches and comic strips - whether or not there's a story to go with them! In 1987, on his teachers' advice, he dropped his studies and started to travel. Going from Europe to Africa, he perfected his style, gathered experiences and visited the big cities. But then in 2002, he started to get a little homesick. He returned to his native Gaspésie, where he began drawing everything he saw, from animal sketches to scientific illustration. Still pursuing the dreams of his youth, he sent off his portfolio to various European publishers. He came to the attention of Humanoïdes Associés, who offered him the script of "Millénaire," which he illustrated for a number of years with his characteristic verve. Since then, he's also taken up the series "Reconquetes" with Le Lombard ("Conquests" 2016, Europe Comics), in collaboration with Sylvain Runberg. The pair teamed up again in 2019 for the thrilling "Zaroff" (Le Lombard/Europe Comics), a sequel to the classic 1932 film "The Most Dangerous Game."
