Yves Patrick Beaulieu es un francocanadiense que vive en Quebec, en el noroeste de esta ciudad, más precisamente en Abitibi-Temiscamingue, una región ubicada en el corazón del bosque boreal canadiense. En 1991, presentó su primera novela: “Au passage de la neuvième lune” y recibió el reconocimiento regional. El autor vuelve diez años más tarde con una segunda novela: “L’ermitage”, que también recibe un hermoso homenaje de su región adoptiva.
