As Christians, we are in the trenches of a violent war. It is more real than our Western mindset has led us to believe. Since the spirit world - where demons attack us daily - seems to us somehow less real than the tangible, material world in which we live, we think that it's nothing to fear. C. Peter Wagner, Ph.D., is recognized as a leading authority in the fields of church growth and spiritual warfare. He is cofounder of the World Prayer Center and is Chancellor of the Wagner Institute in Colorado Springs, Co. Dr. Wagner is author and editor of more than 50 books. F. Douglas Pennoyer, Ph.D., is Dean of The School of Intercultural Studies at Biola University, CA. He is a two-time Fulbright scholar, an ordained minister and Elder with the Free Methodist Church and a highly regarded anthropologist. He has authored such publications as Rival Forces in Spiritual Warfare; Light and Life Magazine, February 1996.
