More of a 4 1/2 stars. Prudence was an innocent, yet brave woman. She took a chance on Rebel, trusting him, and she was fine. She accepted his hesitancy to talk and gave what he needed. Rebel was so hurt and in such emotional pain, it took a night in a bush to find his anchor and his way back to living. They were a fun couple, and I loved the support of the rest of the MC. With a little bit of danger threatening Pru, they all helped protect her. I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

This was not only sweet and exciting as you would expect from a RBMC story, but it also deals with grief and guilt and I felt Rebel's loss through my soul. I cried and I loved Pru for sticking by him and being exactly what he needed. There are some laugh out loud moments as well that gives the story a good balance.

Absolutely Loved This Book!!! Wow!! This author sure can take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. There are sad moments to suspenseful times to all out laughing moments. Rebel lost his best friend/brother Tank and is struggling dealing with his death. After one of his visits to the gravesite he gets passed out drunk and lands in someone’s bushes. Those bushes happen to belong to Prudence who is a straight laced high school teacher with a wicked sense of humor and a heart of gold. She also has a co-worker who is on the creepy side. Yep, you get it…heartache, humor and suspense. What a great mixture that had me reading this book in one sitting. Life would have to wait until I finished this book!! I highly recommend this book along with any of this author’s work. Ms. Winters is one of my favorite MC authors. Now I need to go out and plant some bushes around my house!
