Widening of canvas

(My writings are my offerings to my Rev. Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankarji (founder of The Art of living ) who always inspires me through his powerful yogic teachings and spiritual insights.) I owe a reverence to my late parents whose blessings always stood as my conscience keeper and to my family unit who always encourage me to write. I also wish to offer my sincere thanks to a galaxy of my friends, writers, poets, scholars and thinkers whose love and encouragement enthused me to write on topics of life which stirs our conscience.

Besides, capturing a few life's experiences, scribbling them and then sprinkling a few spices of my feelings, imagination have resulted into a mix of writings on various topics of my interest. My interests may or may not resonate with my readers' interests but I wish I could have played a few chords of readers' sensitivities. I leave it entirely to the wisdom of awakened readers to give a patient reading of my collection 'Widening of canvas'.

I am a retired Banker. Honestly I have never been a student of literature and an avid reader of the gems of literary work of great writers/authors of english language. Whatever I chose to pen has come from my inner yearning and churning and then an urge to express.

The book is a collection of my blogs I wrote a few years back in (speakingtree.in a Times Group site) now being published by Blue Rose Publishers, New Delhi who very kindly consented to give my blogs a book shape. I sincerely acknowledge their support and help.
