About this eBook

I came to take custody of my daughter. I never expected to fall for the cowboy who refuses to let her go.

I had a plan.

✔ Fly to Texas.

✔ Finalize my adoption papers.

✔ Bring my new daughter home.

Then I met Carter Rockson—Navy SEAL turned billionaire rancher and my biggest obstacle.

He was my best friend’s best man—and now, he’s the only father figure my little girl has ever known.

She loves his sprawling Texas ranch. She loves his horses. And worst of all?

She loves him.

The caseworkers are no help. Carter won’t back down. And every time I think I should walk away, I find myself staying a little longer… lingering a little closer… falling a little harder.

His kisses under the bright Texas moon make me forget every reason I should leave.

And when he buys me a pair of boots, my heart wants to knock with his.

This wasn’t part of the plan.

But neither was falling for the one man who could make me question everything.

🔥 A heartwarming, steamy cowboy romance with forced proximity, swoon-worthy kisses, and a protective hero who will fight for love. Read now! 🔥

Good Entertainment! This is another novel in the Steel Sisters series. I really enjoy learning about a whole family. I enjoy the connected threads from one story to another; the overall continuity of the series. This story was original, unique and realistic. The characterizations were all clear and easily discernible from one another. The story line was one of tragedy and the main male and main female characters were struggling to contain their personal grief in order to best help the child who was left an orphan. The main female character was a very straight forward person but she did have a poor self-image. The main male character was impacted by past traumatic experiences and as a result was very hard on himself. This was a unification of family coming together under traumatic life circumstances. I must admit that I had a crying `good time` during some parts of this novel. The ``feels`` definitely abound in this novel. I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel from the author and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

Carter and Ridley met for the first time at their respective best friends' wedding. Ten years later their best friends died in a car accident and Ridley and Carter are named guardians of their young daughter, Chelsea. Wicked Cowboy was enjoyable and easy to read. There were some adult words and situations but overall fairly tame reading. This book is a sweet romance and is book 4 in the Steel series but can be read as a stand-alone. If you want to get lost in a feel-good contemporary romance, Wicked Cowboy is the book for you.

Ridley and Carter are both strong characters and when their friends are killed in a tragic accident and they are left joint custody of their friends daughter they have to find a way to make it work. They both have to acknowledge their hidden feelings before they can get their HEA.
