About this ebook

In an affluent suburb, four wives grapple with the cracks beneath their seemingly perfect facades.

In Wendy Walker's captivating debut, the lives of Love Welsh, Marie Passetti, Gayle Beck and Janie Kirk intertwine in a tale of suburban angst amidst extraordinary wealth. From the outside, these women appear to have it all - handsome, successful husbands; bright, happy children; and homes straight out of Architectural Digest. But in the upscale enclave of Hunting Ridge, appearances mask a deeper truth.

Behind closed doors, each woman faces her own private crisis - infidelity, dissatisfaction, self-doubt. As spring draws to a close, they come face to face with the most difficult challenge of their lives: reconciling their innermost desires with the paths they've chosen. Four Wives offers an intimate glimpse beyond the manicured lawns of Hunting Ridge, exposing a world as troubled as it is blessed. Walker's keen insights into marriage, motherhood and female friendship make this a must-read for fans of women's fiction.
