She currently writes Amish romance for the Love Inspired line of Harlequin Books. She also publishes dystopian and technothrillers independently. Chapman has received numerous awards including the ACFW Carol Award for best mystery (Falling to Pieces), and Christy Award finalist (Anna's Healing).
Chapman received an MA degree in English from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has 20 years experience as a public-school teacher as well as an adjunct college professor. She also speaks to writing groups on how to get published, plotting your novel, what's in a mystery, how to acquire an agent, and more.
