This last book was a wonderful surprise to me. It starts out with a situation that you find in many erotic romances: A woman is taken from her normal life and forced into sexual submission by "demons". But in this final installment when Nari, Brecht and Arctos reunite, the book becomes so much more. Here it's about three very different individuals who try to make a life together despite those differences. The relationship becomes very loving and caring in this final book. I found this change fascinating, enjoyable and heartwarming. The demons are not given to being emotional or caring, and when Brecht and Arctos finds themselves drawn to this human woman and her human needs for gentleness, care and love; the demons learn not only how to deal with their own needs, but to find a common path with Nari’s needs. A well done ending to a great series. In my opinion, a must read.

The Little Sacrifice - Book 3: In the last book, Nari has been happily reunited with her lifemates, demon Brecht, and werewolf, Arctos. But, as happy as their reunion is, after a while she notices their relationship has taken on a little tarnish. It seems nothing is right: they don’t pay enough attention to her; they pay too much attention to her. They irritate her! Her mood swings are driving even herself insane. And to top it off, she keeps feeling ill and nauseous. Finally, Brecht and Arctos take her in their arms and give her the news: she is pregnant. She is astounded! Unfortunately, Arctos and Brecht tell her a war may also be advancing on them. What will happen to this incredible family? 5 Stars! [I received an advanced reader copy of this book and I am providing my honest, unbiased review of it here.] Taken together as a trilogy, this was a highly entertaining paranormal tale, just right for adult Halloween reading. It is chilling, a bit scary, very spicy, extra-steamy and quite provocative. It is a little dark—but not too dark. I can see myself re-reading this trilogy every year around Halloween. The author did a fantastic job with these three books!

A riveting dramatic conclusion leaves the reader wondering through out the book what adventure is next for our Throuple? And it does not disappoint. Naris lifemates must learn to accept she is human and needs nourishment and rest especially now since she is nesting with her moods swinging all over the place! Will they be able to protect their family from the evil lurking ready to tear them apart? I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
