In the months following the September 11 attacks, world leaders began a flurry of attempts to muzzle the press. Hyla Cass was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. A graduate from the University of Toronto School of Medicine, Cass interned at Los Angels County-USC Medical Center, and completed a psychiatry residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/UCLA. Dr. Cass, a board certified psychiatrist, is Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA School in Medicine.
