Until Next Time

Deleted after chapter 20. The story kept dragging with no progress towards a relationship between the two main characters. They kept wallowing in their grief. Yes, both had spouses to die, but either stay in the situation or move on, the constant struggle was just annoying and boring.

5 Star Review Until Next Time (Against All Odds: The St James Family #1) by Claudia Burgoa AUDIO REVIEW: Having read numerous books by Claudia Burgoa I was excited when I learnt about this series and couldn’t wait to dive in. From the first chapter to the last I felt as though I was on an emotional roller coaster of a ride. Until Next Time is an emotional, extremely well written story that ticked all the boxes for me. There is so much heart and soul in this book that my review is brief. My emotions were all over the place and there were times that my heart almost broke for all that Zach and Autumn have been through. This is a book which is at times, sad but it is the love and family that really shines through and takes it t another level. The narration by Jason Clarke, Ava Erickson and Brooke Bloomingdale was spot on for the characters in my opinion and they all did a wonderful job in bringing the characters they portrayed to life for me. Their voices are easy to listen to and I couldn’t help but be drawn into their performances. This is one book that I highly recommend you read. It is the first in her latest St James Family series and if this book is anything to go by, then she has a winning series on her hand.

What a great start to the new, Against All Odds: St James Family Series from Claudia Y. Burgoa. I have to say this is a go to author for me and I was excited when I heard she was writing a new series but nothing could prepare me for Zach and Autumn’s roller coaster of a journey. This is an emotional yet entertaining read, it’s raw and at times your heart will break but as you go through all the emotions this couple feel you will find yourself making new friends you won’t forget. Until Next Time is a very special read, it’s beautifully written but what took this story to another level is that it’s written from the heart and as you watch these characters grow you will see exactly what I mean. But let’s not forget single mum Autumn’s daughter Matilda who only wants her mum to be happy and at times this adorable little girl stole the show with her classic one liners. If this book is anything to go by Ms Burgoa will certainly have another hit series on her hands and I can’t wait to see where we are taken with the rest of the St James family.
