Understudy picks up with Ethan and Riley finally agreeing to move from being co-workers into something more like friends with benefits, but then tragedy hits. Ethan may be rich and famous but he's longing for the one thing we all want...to live his life and be himself. Just when it looks like Ethan and Riley will finally get together life gets in the way. Riley tries to figure out what she really wants while Ethan struggles with his newfound feelings for Riley. Such a great book with lots of humour and surprises. Can't wait for the next installment! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and i'm so glad i did! Loved it!

They just can't catch a break! Every time it seems like life may smooth out, something crashes through it! Riley and Ethan just can't catch a break. I can't wait to see how they handle the newest messed up situations. Held my interest from beginning to end. Another winner for Ali!
