Its not free if we need to add our credit card details to be able to download a FREE book... If u money hungry morons used ur brains, u would not be asking for such details before any of us even make a purchase... How can we trust a company, we cant even download a FREE book... Why would anyone give such details to a company like that... Please explain to ALL of us, why u deem it nesscessary to have our credit card details BEFORE we make a purchase or for a FREE book... :'(

It's a good short story, and worth the read. To those of you still wondering why it asks for a credit card for a free "purchase", the answer is actually simple... age verification. You wouldn't want a minor downloading Fifty Shades, so they ask for a credit card to make sure the account holder is over eighteen ... You can setup a pin to prevent accidental purchases if you're concerned. As for online purchasing, almost every major company out there processes online, even if you physically hand them the card

I enjoyed reading this ebook preview. While it's not outstanding, I prefer mysteries, I feel I would probably really like to read the full version. As for all the complaints about having to use a debit/credit card, I can totally understand the fear/untrust as I had my identity stolen in the past. I still went ahead & used my card which showed $0 charged. I believe this is just the way of doing things at this time of our lives. Some people don't do well with change. Better get used to this way to do business
