The tangled web of lies, danger, horror, and evil that this incredible author has woven with this series is unlike any other series I have read. Just when you think it can’t get any worse (or better), the intensity level is kicked up twelve more notches, and you find yourself teetering on the edge of your seat ready to slide off the edge into oblivion. There can be so much beauty found in the broken, and Ms. Hardt presents that with startling clarity in this chapter of this incredible series. Helen Hardt is a talented very entertaining author. Her books are intelligently written and intriguing. My only upset is she drags on the Steele brother series way too long. It get frustrating when you get to the end of one book then you realize the story is not over. Which is good and bad however some parts of series could be combined.

This series just keeps getting more and more exciting. Twisted takes it to the next level. Ruby and Ryan continue to figure out the mystery surrounding their parents but with all of the twists and turns this story takes it's not an easy feat. I love this series, but if you have a weak stomach I probably wouldn't suggest it.
