Almost three decades after their sensational triumph over the Soviet Union in the 1972 Summit Series, Yvan Cournoyer, Ken Dryden, Ron Ellis, Paul Henderson, Phil Esposito, Stan Mikita, Rod Seiling, and other members of Team Canada were present at the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 10, 2000, for the unveiling of a monument acknowledging the Canadian Press designation of the "Team of the Century."
