Grew up in the mean Streets of Detroit Michigan. Raised in a single parent house hold made times hard.In the land of Cars Cash and Coke that could be a death sentence. Instead of turning to the streets like most she knew she turned to the pen. Writing stories about things that she seen and those that she had lost to express her self. It was in High School when a teacher read one of her short stories that she knew she had talent. Taking on the Name AnJela Day meaning Godly Day an author was born. After years of sitting in the background watching others emerge in the Literary game she puts her foot in to put a twist on Urban lit.
