I ask myself sometime "why are we so addicted to the internet"? I guess its like any other addition. We feel the need to engage in our compulsive behaviors no matter what the consequences are. The internet has become the New Teacher, Nurse, Therapist, the New Bully and the new Speech Class because some uses social media as a platform, whether its for good or evil. Like you, I find the internet useful at times. This was a Great read!!!

The book told the truth about how technology has entered our homes and our lives and just took over and changed the way we think. We let the technology do it all and go along with whatever the media and then technology is there is no truth within ourself like it was in the early 70s reading encyclopedias. This is a good book. I love it.

I see it as I travel on mass transit in New York City. Addiction to technical handheld devices are making chiropractors filthy Rich! all heads down, most ears plugged, no eye contact, thumbs and pointers moving faster then the eye can trace. sounds of Candy Crush and battleships, not many newspapers or paper novels. such an easy way to avoid and ignore human nature.
