The Journey will pick up at the end of the third book ‘EXPOSED - A Crack in Her Hidden Fortress’ leaving off after the discovery that Maxi had been Living Two Lives. Her lives where not split by day & night. Her lives were split between her Two Realities. The Atlantic Ocean separating us seemed like the smallest of barriers when I was willing to go to the moon for a cup of coffee and conversation.
Day to day, she existed as a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a primary school teacher. She lived in an idyllic village and appeared happily settled in life with marriage, family, friends and community. She was “the sunshine” of her village and her family.
But for her, she was dying inside. She had not wanted to get pregnant. She did not want to get married. And she did not want to be limited to a small village in Germany. She, like many suffering from depression, put on her mask and was walking through life miserable on the inside. She was in an unfulfilling marriage. Her family was controlling, especially her parents. She loved her children, but fought against motherhood. Her life was much like the weather ‘an der Donau’ (on the Donau River) …flashes of hot & sunny, but mostly cloudy with high probability of rain & blinding fog.
With us being worlds apart, literally & figuratively, in space and mind, we originally agreed for her to come back to Boston for a visit, where we fell in love some 18 years ago. It would be romantic for both of us, and safe for her to keep me separate from her family. But when would she be able to leave her new baby, Sebastian? Maybe, it would be easier if we came up with a better plan?
Without Yearning, there can be no Longing. Without Lust, there can be no Desire. Without Sorrow, there can be no Love. Without the Devil, there can be no God.
The Silent Seduction Series is based on a False Reality, a Real Fantasy and a True Story. Character names and certain identifiers have been changed to protect the Innocent, the Young and those unaware of how History is writing itself Every day. There are those of us that are Observers and those that are Oblivious to what is Happening right in front of them.

With each of the successive novels in this Series, I wish to enlighten the readers and expose the Narcissists in their lives, potentially their relationships.
In my humble, non-professional opinion, Narcissism, often described as a personality trait, is a deep-seated and powerful disorder. It can be useful, propelling one to great achievements and positions of power. It can also be extremely destructive to those closest to them.
I have no formal training on narcissism, other than living through it in various aspects of my life. I have a strong personality and determination to see things through until the end, regardless of the challenges presented. This combination does not bode well for the narcissist, or for me.
If you are familiar with the old German fairy tale of Hansel & Gretel {Hänsel und Gretel} written by Brothers Grimm, where a poor woodcutter’s wife takes her stepchildren into the woods to fend for themselves, so that her and her husband, in turn, will not starve to death, then you will understand.
Within the bolded, the italicized and the underlined words and sentences, are preludes or breadcrumbs, if you will, set as hints to identify key characteristics and trademarks of the narcissist, Maxi. When the witch’s large kettle is overflowing with these notions, then I have added the foreshadowing 💭 to keep the reader from being betrayed and crawling into the oven.
So, my dear friends, beware. These people walk amongst us. They have jobs, even professions. They have relationships, sometimes more than one at a time. They appear happy and successful.
The truth is, a narcissist can never be satisfied, therefore never truly happy. With each relationship eventually ending in exposure and failure, they can never truly find success. If you choose to avoid the subtle hints, the breadcrumbs, then you most certainly will feel the famine.
