Francis Joseph Sheed (1897-1981) was a Catholic publisher, author and street orator and the founder of the Catholic publishing house of Sheed & Ward. His books include To Know Christ Jesus, Saints Are Not Sad, A Map of Life, Society and Sanity and Theology and Sanity.
