I liked this book, as it was three short , intense stories. ( JD style.) She grabs you right from the start, keeps you riveted, and then wraps them up beautifully. I read this book out of sequence, as I purchased it on sale, and it was not a listed "book number". Now I can't wait to find out where/ how Eve and Roake find out about her past, and the people who could've stopped it.( story #3 touches on this.)

There is not one jd.robb book I could ever put down from beginning to end. Nora Roberts has got to be my most cherished and favorite author of all time..I have lived every single book she has ever written. If you have not read any of the JD.robb books,they are a must. You will fall in love with Eve and roarke forever. I hope they never end.

Everv book is a gift. They take me away and absorb me in another world with the most interesting people. For a while I dont worry, hurt or be depresses, I am solving crime. Thank you!
