Muhammad (570-632), the true prophet of the Islamic faith, revealed the word of God in the Koran, or Qur’an, today the basis of faith for every Muslim. In addition to the Koran, Muhammad’s life (sira) and traditions (sunnah) are strictly upheld by Muslims. He is revered as a “Manifestation of God” in the Bahá’í Faith, a religion that emphasizes the spiritual oneness of all of mankind.
