À propos de cet e-book

A time-defying alchemist races against a deadly conspiracy in this electrifying supernatural thriller.

Plain Man is the riveting new installment in the Max August series, blending magic and suspense in a modern fantasy adventure. Max, an ageless alchemist trained by the legendary Cornelius Agrippa, wields his elemental powers to battle the far-right cabal known as the FRC. This shadowy group of nine, each a force in media, politics, finance, and wizardry, seeks total control over society.

When Max discovers two cabal members heading to Wickr, a Burning Man-like festival, he hatches a plan to gather intel and turn them against each other. But the ever-watchful FRC retaliates with a sinister "accident" at a nearby nuclear waste facility, threatening the lives of millions.

As the clock ticks down, Max must use every trick in his alchemical arsenal to thwart the FRC's plot and prevent catastrophe. Packed with action, intrigue, and a touch of rock and roll, Plain Man is an urban fantasy thrill ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
