Set in the turbulent years just before one of the most horrendous events in Jewish history, The Last Temple concludes the trilogy of The Last Disciple and The Last Sacrifice. Vitas is reunited with his wife and retires to Alexandria, determined to live a quiet, domestic life. But he can’t avoid the debts that he owes to the men who saved him, and he becomes a key figure in the plot to rid the empire of Nero. It sweeps him into the “year of four emperors,” when the Roman Empire is nearly destroyed, and takes him back to Jerusalem as Titus lays siege to the great city. Only then, as the prophecy of Jesus begins to unfold, does Vitas discover the true mission set before him and the astounding conspiracy behind it.

Despre autor
Hank Hanegraaff has been president of the California-based Christian Research Institute. He also worked as the host of the Bible Answer Man radio broadcast, which can be heard six days a week throughout the United States and Canada. With an audience of more than 120 million people, Hanegraaff urges his listeners to "contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints." Hanegraaff is the author of such books as Personal Witness Training: Your Handle on the Great Commission; Counterfeit Revival: Unmasking the Truth Behind the Worldwide Counterfeit Revival; and Memory Dynamics: Your Untapped Resource for Spiritual Growth. As the general editor in the updating of Dr. Walter Martin's classic The Kingdom of the Cults, Hanegraaff presented detailed ways to protect worried parties and their loved ones from cults. Also a regular contributor to the Christian Research Journal, Hanegraaff conducts seminars and lectures worldwide.
Sigmund Brouwer, Sigmund Brouwer was born in Central Alberta to Dutch immigrant parents. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Carleton University. He published many articles in American and Canadian magazines before he got his big break as a novelist. The first book he published was entitled, "Accidental Detectives," aimed at youth fiction. He is best known for his adult fiction novel, "Double Helix," published in 1995. Brouwer teaches writing courses at Red Deer College and is on the Board of Directors of the Red Deer College Press. Brouwer also played semi-pro hockey as well as a stint as the editor for National Raquetball Magazine. He has taught mystery writing seminars and in 1993, co-founded The Young Writer's Institute to encourage today's youth to follow their dreams of a career in writing. Brouwer has won the Alberta Film and Literary Arts Writing Grant twice.
