This company was founded by Richard Altwasser and Stephen Vickers - the key hardware and software designers for the legendary Sinclair ZX Spectrum. The original designers wanted the Jupiter ACE to be a programmers' machine, and although sales were not necessarily stellar, they achieved exactly what they set out to.
