Emerald Fennell is a BAFTA and Academy Award-winning writer, director and actress. Her acclaimed film Saltburn was released in 2023. She has appeared in Anna Karenina, Call the Midwife and The Crown and won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Promising Young Woman. She lives in London with a very quiet ghost. Her first novel was Shiverton Hall, a deliciously creepy tale that had readers needing to keep the light on at night.
