And when Don becomes a true connoisseur of chickens and wins the Horse Island Chicken-Judging Contest, he is an instant celebrity, setting into motion a chain of events that involves his parents, the chickens and a deep dark family mystery.

Jacques Couvillon (Koo-vee-on) grew up in a town similar to the one described in Chicken Dance. The youngest of eight children he had plenty of inspiration for his quirky characters. He now divides his time between Switzerland Louisiana and New York City.
