In the run-up to the Malaysian General Elections, the Board felt that the country was under threat. The Board blamed human rights activists and other liberal movements for sowing discord.
As a Malaysia Day gift to the nation, the Prime Minister abolished some draconian laws — but the Board had other plans. The Board engaged a shadowy trio called MAC (Maestro, Architect, Choreographer) to bring back the GODs.
In executing their plans, an Ex-Special Force personnel named Reyza was brought in to introduce panic among the public through acts of violence. In the face of this terror, the public openly welcomed back the GODs.
But what are the GODs, and why isn't everyone happy to see them return?

Rozlan Mohd Noor debuted in the literary world in 2010 with his novel 21 Immortals: Inspector Mislan and the Yee Sang Murders which was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Best First Book Award. Since then he has written two more Inspector Mislan novels. He also published another crime thriller Bayu (The Wind) and a Malay novel titled Infantisid. His work centers around the local scene by subtly showcasing our cultures, sentiments and current affairs.
