Brenda Jackson is a New York Times, USA Today and Publisher Weekly bestselling author of over 100 novels. She has over 13 million books in print. She was the recipient of the Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the highest literary awards an author can receive in the romance genre. Her book, A Silken Thread, was a NAACP Image Award Nominee for Outstanding Literary Fiction. In 2015 her book, A Lover's Vow, was selected by Essence Magazine as one of the best books for 2015.  In 2018 she was named one of the Most Successful Women in Jacksonville, Florida. Her novel, One Special Moment, was produced by BET as a made-for-television movie; and her movie, Truly Everlasting, was a Netflix favorite.  Passionflix produced her book, A Brother’s Honor, to film in October 2019 and currently available for viewing. Additionally, filming for three more of Brenda’s novels is scheduled for 2020 by Passionflix and Siri Austin Entertainment. Brenda established the Brenda Jackson Literary Scholarship through Delta Sigma Theta to encourage further studies in the Arts.
