The Kingdom of Morocco. Morocco, set at the northwestern extremity of the African

continent, is bordered by the Mediterranean, Atlantic Ocean, Algeria and Mauritania.

The population of Morocco number somewhat more than 30 millions. Morocco is young

country since over than 60 % of the population is under 20 years old and more than 50%

of the population lives in the rural areas.

The climate is temperate to warm. The government is constitutional democratic and

social monarchy and Islam is state religion but freedom of worship is guaranteed. The

official language is Arabic. There are 3 Berber dialects in Morocco in the mountainous

region and in the Souss. Total land area is 710 850 squares kilometers, coastline: 2 900

Km Atlantic cost and 500 Km Mediterranean.

Morocco culture is very rich and fascinating, the roman remains at Volubilis, the richly,

decorated palaces museums and schools in the imperial cities, the sand fortresses in the

deep south, etc. Reflects more than 20 centuries of history.
