Información sobre este eBook

Sustainable Cropping Systems Under Changing Climate explores the intersection of agricultural practices, climate change, and crop production. Informing researchers in the field of cropping systems worldwide about the challenges associated with achieving and maintaining crop productivity under various cropping systems, the book focuses on these challenges specifically within the context of changing climate scenarios providing real-world, application-focused insights. By focusing on cropping systems, the book provided a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by crop production in different agricultural contexts. It examines the interaction of changing climate conditions with diverse cropping practices and systems which influence crop productivity globally. It not only to identifies challenges but also to proposes mitigation strategies, offering effective approaches to address the challenges and to developing resilient and adaptive cropping systems. Sustainable Cropping Systems Under Changing Climate suggests sustainable solutions that can mitigate the impacts of climate change on crop yields and ensure food security for a growing global population. - Analyzes the specific challenges faced by different crops and regions, providing better understanding of the nuances of climate impacts on agricultural productivity - Includes case studies, best practices, and real-world examples, providing practical guidance on implementing sustainable cropping systems - Provides interdisciplinary insights from multiple disciplines, including agronomy, climatology, genetics, and policy
