What Is Sussman Anomaly

The Sussman anomaly is an issue in artificial intelligence that was first documented by Gerald Sussman. It shows a weakness of noninterleaved planning algorithms, which were popular in the early 1970s. Sussman was the first person to describe the Sussman anomaly.
