關於本電子書

A submarine commander must extract a double agent from enemy territory without firing a shot in this action-packed thriller.

“Joe Buff’s novels are the crème de la crème of submarine thrillers.” —Stephen Coonts

The outcome of a global conflict fought with billion-dollar technologies and million-soldier campaigns may depend on one man . . .

In the fire and terror of World War III, Commander Jeffrey Fuller—captain of the fast-attack nuclear submarine, USS Challenger—has already helped turn the tides of conflict. But now the fate of his country and maybe all of humanity demands that he cross miles of hostile waters...without firing a single shot.

Fuller’s objective is to recover a spy, an asset code-named “Zeno,” who may hold the key to staving off a crippling Berlin–Boer Axis attack. But in the shadow world of covert counterintelligence, the distinctions between enemy and friend are elusive...and deadly. Fuller’s mission may be a trap meant to lure America’s most powerful undersea weapon into Axis hands. And with the clock ticking down on an invasion that could alter the course of the war, the fate of the free world may rest on Fuller’s decision to risk everything on the word of a man whose business is lies, deception . . . and death.
