Acerca del autor

Wayne Vansant was born in Atlanta, Georgia and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and graduated from the Atlanta College of Art in 1975. His first comic work appeared in Marvel's Savage Tales, and was the principle artist for The 'Nam for more than fifty issues. He wrote and illustrated Days of Darkness for Apple Comics, telling the story of the early days of the war in the Pacific in the early 90's. One of the most acclaimed historical comic artists, Wayne has created and illustrated comics from Marvel, Eclipse, Penguin, Caliber, Dark Horse and others. Some of the war comics from Wayne include Days of Wrath, Shiloh, The Vietnam War: A Graphic History, Semper Fi (Tales of the Marine Corps), and Knights of the Skull, the incredible story of the Cherkassy Pocket. Lending his considerable skills, Wayne has also illustrated fictional works set in war settings such as Battron, a tale of a French Foreign Legionnaire.
