Stefan Rahmstorf ist Professor für Physik der Ozeane in Potsdam und Leiter der Abteilung Klimasystem am Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung. Schwerpunkt: Rolle der Meeresströmungen bei Klimaänderungen. Katherine Richardson ist Professorin für Biologische Ozeanographie an der University of Aarhus (DK) und Vize-Präsidentin des Scientific Committee of the European Environment Agency. Klaus Wiegandt ist Stifter und Vorstand des »Forums für Verantwortung«. Im Fischer Taschenbuch Verlag hat er bereits zahlreiche Bücher zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit herausgegeben.
