The Jedi have been decimated in the Great Purge, and the Republic has fallen. On Mandalore, clone deserters and the planet's own natives, who have no love for the Jedi, will have their most cherished beliefs challenged. Karen Traviss is a novelist, screenwriter and comics writer, having received critical acclaim for her first two novels City of Pearl and Crossing the Line. She is also the author of Star Wars: Republic Commando: Hard Contact and Star Wars: Republic Commando: Triple Zero, and is the beloved of stormtroopers everywhere. Karen is a former defense correspondent and TV newspaper journalist, Karen has also worked as a police press officer, an advertising copywriter and a journalism lecturer.
