But when he goes on a residential trip to a remote Scottish castle to make a video about the school's new approach to haunting, strange happenings start to take place - it's almost as if the ghosts themselves are being haunted. Sue Purkiss is a relatively new author, but establishing herself nicely on the Black Cats list as a writer of imaginative, fantasy fiction with a spooky vein. The Willow Man, a longer novel, will be published by Walker next year.
