This book gives us some accounts of crimes done by women in India. Though this books brings along some true events as a fiction according to me the narrative felt bland and emotion less that failed to give me the gut wrenching feeling mainly because of its straightforward narration. Though I appreciate the fast pacing stories where no mysteries were kept but a pinpoint description of the act, the reason and the scenerios but at some points it felt rushed too.The writing style was simple. Easy and comprehensive narrative that can be easily grasped by beginners. The story line was unique and the fact that's it's based on true events was intriguing.

PLOT: To think that smile is not the only weapon a woman can use is still a foreign idea. Death Served Cold is a collection of seven, well researched incidents where crime was committed by women of different ages dues to different motives. REVIEW: ● A book with a unique concept which made it is page turner of me. All the seven stories are very gripping and will keep the readers on their edges with plenty of questions. ● The narrative is another plus point in the book. The deep research is clearly visible in the authors impeccable narration. I didn't like the cover much as I found it a little dull but, the title is absolutely on point. ● The cherry on top of the cake would be the part where not only the crime but, the motive/ reason was mentioned too. Even the part where all the references are mentioned really hyped up my curiosity. Overall, it was a great read which was very different from what I usually read and proven to be very engaging.
