Fay wakes up to a nightmare which just keeps getting worse. Whilst Vruhag is struggling to control himself since the mating fever took hold after he scented his mate. The makers of the Trials of Kalumbu may believe that they are just another pair of captives to be put through the games for the Universes' entertainment but they would be wrong. A fantastic, fast paced, action packed adventure that has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish and so much passion between Fay and Vruhag.

Hot and steamy story that kind of reminded me of 'The Hunger Games'. Fay and Vruhag are kidnapped and forced to play a deadly game for their survival. Vruhag knows that Fay is his mate and does whatever he can to keep her safe. Exciting story but characters don't really meet or get steamy with each other until half way through the read. Wow this story grabs you right at the start. The endless dangers on this planet are scary. Fay has no idea what is going on. She stays strong and never freaks out. She is smart and thinks before she acts. She fights the mate pull but not for long. You are rooting for them to survive and become mates. Vruhag having watched the Trial show knows a little of what is going on but he too is thrust into a situation that only has death as the ending. The Chii- this creatures are wonderful! good read
