Livi Michael is the author of the popular Frank the hamster series as well two novels for older children, the acclaimed The Whispering Road and The Angel Stone, and she is the award-winning writer of four adult novels. Livi was a university lecturer and teacher of creative writing but now writes full-time. She lives in Saddleworth with her two sons.
