This was soo intense! Larry has been on the trail of the serial killer “The Surgeon “ and everyone of the family has something going on. Let me tell you these Redheaded women, Mitch, Charlotte and Beth are all amazing. The men are very hot. James, Michael, Richard and Larry. This also catches up with Georgie and her goings on. The children Cara, Adam & Vicky are just adorable. The inn is going well as is the main homestead. But as with all these stories, things don’t stay settled for long.

Simone has you sitting on the edge of your seat with this one! OMG, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, yet at the same time I didn’t want “The Lover’s Children” series to end as I love all things Triad and their extended family. With so many things in the air with Klempner after the rocky ending of his chase with The Surgeon in “Summer’s Inferno,” you wondered how he survived. I loved how Simone brought everything to a close for the series, can’t wait to see where she takes us next!

I absolutely love Simone Leigh's stories. We meet the people and I like all of them. I love how everyone sticks together when one or all of them are going through hard times. This story had so much angst and a lot of twists and turns so I could never guess what was going to happen. I cannot wait for the next book from this author!.
