This is a GREAT short story!!! I LOVED IT!!! I HIGHLY recommend this novella!!! The author wanted to pay tribute to the sci-fi movies of the 80s...and he did a Fantastic job!!! This short story is worth reading just for the "so bad it's good" one-liners after the main character takes care of a bad guys! I found another author to add to my "Favorite Authors" list!!!

Truly lives up to the author's wish to honor those over the top action movies that we all love to hate. Meet Kyra who seems to have inherited Arnold and JC's mantle with pun-tastic quips after every kill. Truly a must read for anyone who likes sci-fi and action movies. But like most good things it was over too soon. Good thing that there are at least two !ore books about Kyra Sarin!

About the author
An avid reader from an early age, Simon Cantan loved to get lost in the worlds that Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams, and others created. When he read Harry Harrison's "The Stainless Steel Rat Gets Drafted" at the age of thirteen, he knew he wanted to write, and has been pestering people about it ever since.
Two decades later, Simon has published several books, including the "Bytarend" series, "Shiny New Swindle", and "Hard Vacuum". He continues to write science-fiction and fantasy, usually with a humorous slant to it.
