Dominant Philip Dettmer catches Emma reading a scandalous, bestselling BDSM book. And now he intends to give her a taste of her secret fantasies...

Jaded financier Philip Dettmer vowed never to love again—until a chance encounter with the beautifully innocent Emma Monroe tempts him beyond reason.

Emma blushes furiously when the enigmatic billionaire catches her in an elevator holding a copy of the scandalous BDSM novel taking the world by storm. Before she can escape, he stuns her with a once-in-a lifetime chance to bring her forbidden fantasies to life.

No one is more shocked than Philip when she accepts his invitation to join him at the Quarter, New Orleans’s most exclusive club. But as they begin their exploration of Dominance and submission, from page to bedroom, she knows one taste will never be enough.

They find themselves swept up in each other, as her trust and love unravel the bonds of cynicism that have consumed him for so long. Now he’s vowing to be her first BDSM—and her last—no matter the cost.

A scorching billionaire BDMS romance set at the Quarter, New Orleans's premier BDSM club where fantasies become reality... Welcome to the Titans billionaires, a secret society of the world’s most powerful, ambitious gentlemen. All books are standalone novels that can be read in any order and have a guaranteed happily ever after ending.

I liked the couple. This book just didn't do it for me. Describing every minute detail got monotonous. I found myself skipping a lot of the book because of this. There was no drama, no action. Just a lot of going back and forth with the heroines inner dialogue about not getting attached to the hero because he said it was for only one night. When clearly he wanted to spend time with her after that. You could tell by his actions. The hero wasn't much better, he wanted her but he evidently didn't want her long term. He never thought about kids with her or being her husband. Like I said this just wasn't my cuppa. It might be someone else's though. It was well written.

What did I love about this book? There were so many things! I loved the maturity of the characters, no immature hysterics or game playing, nope. They met, they liked, they struck a deal that benefitted each other. I loved the heat between them, both in scenes, but also when they did normal everyday things. They had a connection that bled into the everyday, only they didn’t seem to realize it, or want to acknowledge it. I loved their self-awareness, and while it was on-point in some instances, but off on others, when it all came together, they didn’t stall, they went all in, whole hog. But mostly, I loved how they were just so much into the other, how he got her from the start, and how she didn’t get him right away, but she knew he was it for her. Wonderful love story that started out as a BDSM connection but developed into so much more than either person was counting on <3

Despite the lack of a certain tech Titan's cameo (I love every time he shows up but he does get a mention), I really enjoyed this story. Philip and Emma's story was a very quick read for me. I was so envolved in the story, that I kept turning the pages until I was done. Though light on character background, there is enough mentioned to understand Philip and Emma's characters. However, the Quarter is described in detail along with a couple of hot scenes between Philip and Emma. I really did enjoy the story but it did seem that the author tried too hard to add the Titans/Zetas into the story (IMHO, the story stands on it's own without the added Titan hook). Philip's sister and the mermaid's were an added bit of fun for the story. I learned a few facts about mermaids from this story :) Great addition to The Quarter series and I am still waiting for Julien's story.
