The 38th edition of Shubhapallaba was released in May 2022. Inside this issue of Shubhapallaba are a total of 11 stories, poems, travel blogs, and essays, including the editorial. This issue's cover photo is designed by Sameet Das and features problems of summer, which indicates the increased heatwave in India and Pakistan in 2022. A number of new writers contributed to this edition. Some writers' first articles have been published in this edition. Sangram Keshari Senapati and Tapas Ranjan edited all the articles.

Sangram Keshari Senapati is an Indian writer and entrepreneur from Bhadrak, Odisha. He is the founder of Shubhapallaba Odia magazine and Gapu Photography club. Apart from that, Sangram is a volunteer in the Wikimedia project and became the 1st Odia and the 3rd Indian as well the 3rd participant in the world to complete the 1000wikidays challenge. His first Odia book, College Dary is going to release soon.
